Clair Obscur, Ghost of Yōtei, Arc Raiders, dan Dispatch Pimpin Nominasi DICE Awards 2026
The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences atau AIAS resmi mengumumkan daftar nominasi DICE Awards 2026. Ajang penghargaan ke 29 ini akan digelar pada 12 Februari 2026 di Las Vegas pukul 20.00 waktu Pasifik dan disiarkan secara langsung secara online.
Tahun ini, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 dan Ghost of Yōtei menjadi game dengan jumlah nominasi terbanyak, masing masing meraih delapan nominasi. Posisi berikutnya ditempati Arc Raiders dan Dispatch dengan enam nominasi, disusul Blue Prince yang memperoleh lima nominasi, serta Death Stranding 2: On the Beach dengan empat nominasi.
Untuk kategori paling prestisius, Game of the Year, lima game yang bersaing adalah Arc Raiders, Blue Prince, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Dispatch, dan Ghost of Yōtei.
AIAS menjelaskan bahwa seluruh nominasi ditentukan oleh peer panel yang terdiri dari para profesional industri game berpengalaman. Pemenang akan dipilih melalui voting rahasia oleh lebih dari 30.000 anggota Academy.
Presiden AIAS, Meggan Scavio, menyampaikan apresiasi kepada panelis dan para finalis, serta menekankan bahwa seluruh game yang masuk nominasi menunjukkan pencapaian luar biasa dari sisi kreativitas, artistik, dan teknis sepanjang 2025.
Sebagai catatan, DICE Awards tahun lalu menobatkan Astro Bot sebagai Game of the Year, dengan total empat penghargaan. Game lain seperti Balatro, Helldivers 2, dan Indiana Jones and the Great Circle juga mencatat kemenangan penting.
